Silvano Garza, 64, entered into eternal life on March 31, 2009 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother Josefina Mares and step father, Simon Sandoval.

He is survived by his wife, Minerva Garza, children, Henry Leo Maricela Garza, Erica Josue Serrano, Deborah Manuel III Perez, Sonja Garza, and Samuel Garza, grandchildren, Henry Leo Garza, Jr., Aaron Justin Garza, Bailey Aniston Garza and Hannah Sophia Serrano, father, Simon Garza, sisters, Marta Serrata, Matilde Rocha, Juanita Rodriguez, Melissa Posada, Alejandra Jaramillo, Febe G. Cantu and brothers, Juan Posada and Valentin Posada.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Full Military Honors will be conducted at the graveside by the American Legion Post 43 Veterans Honor Guard.
